The Matchup 

• Roanoke have yet to defeat the Yellow Jackets in seven previous matchups. The sides have played twice already this season with RMC winning 3-0 the first time and 3-1 most recently. 

• The closest game between the two teams was a five-setter neutral site game in March of 2023. 

• RC advanced to the championship game after taking down Eastern Mennonite 3-0 in Salem. Randolph-Macon, on the other hand, defeated Virginia Wesleyan in Ashland by the same score. 

Notes and Notables 

• In just their third year of being a varsity program, this is Roanoke's first trip to a league title game. 

• Pierce Faulcon had a standout match last time around. He was just one shy of his career high with a team leading 13 kills in the contest. 

• Colin Mendoza, Gabe Fabbro, and Andre Gates came up big on the defensive side, racking up 14 total blocks between themselves. 

• The Maroons are 25th in the nation in blocks per set, averaging just over two per set.
