The Lead: The shuttle hurdle relay team placed first with a school-record time, and the Roanoke women's track & field team produced several personal bests at Liberty.
Meet Highlights:
- The Maroons won the 4x60 shuttle hurdle relay with a school-record time of 37.89 seconds. The quartet consisted of Olivia Viers, Cammi Winston, McKenna Riolo and Rebecca Carr.
- Tasha Miller placed seventh in the pole vault with a height of 3.10m.
- In the weight throw, Sarah Fuchs landed in 13th place at 13.59m, followed by Abby McGlothlin in 24th at 11.39m.
- Carr finished 14th while running a season-best time in the preliminary rounds of the 60m hurdles, and her mark of 9.20 seconds ranks third in the ODAC this winter. Viers placed 16th at 9.21 seconds, while Cammi Winston came in 22nd at 9.50 – another season-best time that currently ranks fifth in the conference.
- Fuchs placed 21st in the shot put at 10.16m, and McGlothlin finished 28th at 9.76m.
- Two Maroons also clocked personal-record and top-5 ODAC times in the 400m. Mae Kaufman placed 24th overall in 1:00.97, tying for third place in the conference, while Maryrose Molina-Shuman's mark of 1:01.14 landed her in 26th at the meet and fifth in the ODAC. Nadira Cantey also set a personal record at 1:02.15, finishing 33rd overall.
- In the 200m, Lindsey Hobin placed 30th in 26.12 seconds, a time that ranks sixth in school history and third in the conference on the season. Eleanor Hinckley (26.58 seconds, 41st), Cantey (26.91, 49th), Nalonda Henderson (26.95, 50th) and Kaufman (26.97, 51st) also logged personal-record or season-best marks.
- Henderson's PR time of 7.96 seconds in the prelims of the 100m is good for third in the ODAC this year and sixth in program annals. She placed 30th overall and second among Division III runners.
- Savannah Reid was the highest Division III finisher in the 800m, logging a personal-record time of 2:29.34 to come in 49th overall.
- Sarah Kochanski's time of 11:58.77 in the 3,000m was also a personal-best, as she landed in 53rd place.
