Event: Virginia Tech Challenge

The Lead: A trio of athletes from the women's track & field team competed in the Virginia Tech Challenge in Blacksburg on Friday and Saturday.
Highlights:
- Nalonda Henderson set a personal record in the 60m, notching a time of 7.95 seconds to place sixth overall. That mark is the sixth-fastest in school history, and it ranks fourth in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference this season. Eleanor Hinckley finished seventh in the finals in 8.29 seconds after clocking in at 8.20 in the prelims.
- Olivia Viers ran a season-best time of 9.16 seconds in the 60m hurdles to place ninth in the prelims, missing the finals by one spot against a field of mostly Division I athletes. She also ranks fourth in the ODAC.
- Hinckley placed 13th overall in the 200m with a season-best time of 26.53 seconds.
Up Next: Roanoke will play host to the ODAC indoor championships at Cregger Field House next weekend.
