Jordan Haack named RC Assistant Athletic Communications Director

SALEM, Va. – The Roanoke College athletic department announced the hiring of Jordan Haack as the new Assistant Athletic Communications Director on Monday.

Haack spent the last year as an assistant director for athletic communications at Division I Bryant University (R.I.). She was the primary contact for the Bulldog men's and women's soccer, men's and women's swimming and diving, women's lacrosse and women's rowing teams.

"We are excited to welcome Jordan to Roanoke College," said Mike Carpenter, Roanoke's director of athletic communications. "We were impressed with her experience and maturity for only being in the field for a short time and feel she is a great fit for the Maroon athletic department."

A 2023 graduate of Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) rival Shenandoah University, Haack was a three-year member of the Hornets' women's soccer team and a captain for two seasons. She earned a bachelor of business administration degree from SU with a sport management concentration as well as a minor in coaching. Haack was a senior athletic communications assistant at Shenandoah.

"I cannot wait to start with the Maroons and utilize what I have learned at Bryant and Shenandoah to help enhance how we showcase the student-athletes at Roanoke," said Haack. "I would like to thank Mike for putting his faith in me and giving me the opportunity to return to the ODAC."
