The Lead: Brady Fowler placed fifth in the 200m and eighth in the 60m at the NCAA indoor championships, securing All-America status in both events.
Day Two Highlights:
- Fowler finished eighth in the finals of the 60m dash with a time of 6.87 seconds. His qualifying time of 6.81 seconds in Friday's preliminary heats eclipsed his own school record.
- Fowler proceeded to break his own Roanoke record in the 200m for the second straight day, clocking a time of 21.54 seconds to land in fifth place overall.
- His performances earn First Team All-America laurels in both events, marking the first such honors of his collegiate career.
- Sam Blaskowski of Wisconsin-La Crosse won the national title in both races, logging times of 6.68 seconds in the 60m and 20.93 seconds in the 200m.
