How it Happened

• Goals by Jenn Schwechheimer and Lilly Blair gave Roanoke a 2-0 lead with just over 26 minutes to play in the first-half.
• RC made it 4-2 with 22:37 to play in the half, but CNU would roll off seven unanswered goals, taking a 9-4 lead on a Victoria Betterly goal with 11:33 on the clock.
• Blair would strike again before the end of the half to make it a 10-6 CNU lead at halftime.
• CNU scored to open the half then Lainey Decker answered for the Maroons with a goal at the 25:13 mark to make it 11-7.
• That would be as close as RC would get as CNU would go on a 6-1 run to go up 17-8 and put the game away.
