In the late game, a three-run third inning led Randolph-Macon to victory. Mitro and Jeb Weyworth hit both led the inning off with doubles before Walton finished the inning with a two-run homerun. The Yellow-Jackets added two runs in the fifth off a Corey Jackson double to make it 5-0.

Roanoke got on the board in the top of the eighth when Benjamin Amos (Vinton, VA, William Byrd) singled in Dalton Lipes (Buchanan, VA, James River).   R-MC tacked on three more runs in the bottom half of the eighth off three hits and an error to give the final score of 8-1.

John Terlesky (Charlottesville, VA , Albermarle)
