Salem, Va. - Brett Fonder, Roanoke College swim head coach, announced the schedules for the men's and women's teams, with the season starting September 26.  

"We're really excited to get the 2026-27 season underway. We have a lot of familiar opponents on the schedule, but we've also added some new competition this year, including Mary Washington and Franklin & Marshall, which I think will be great for our team", said Fonder. "We're also looking forward to heading back to the VMI Invitational and, of course, finishing the year at the ODAC Championships in Greensboro. I think we have a really good schedule that will challenge us throughout the season, and we're excited to get started and see what this group can accomplish." 

The Maroons get the season started on Sept. 26 as they head to the ODAC Relays. After nearly three weeks off, Roanoke then travels to take on Bridgewater on Oct. 17 and Lynchburg on Oct. 24.  

The away stretch continues as RC will head to Fredericksburg on Halloween to compete against Mary Washington and Franklin and Marshall College. To round out the calendar year, the team will travel to Virginia Military Institute for a three-day event Nov. 13-15.  

RC will kick off 2027 by hosting Southern Virginia for Senior Day on Jan. 16, then go to Randolph a week later. The season will conclude in Greensboro for the ODAC Championships, taking place Feb. 10-13.
