Maroons score twice in the first half to earn a 2-1 win over the Scots

Salem, Va. - The Roanoke College men's soccer team defeated Covenant 2-1 for the first win of the season.

How It Happened  

  • Jackson Bostrom scored the opener just four minutes in for the Scots.  

  • Grey Morris scored his first career goal in the 20th minute to tie the game up.  

  • Pacific Kabungulu came off the bench in the 24th minute and made an immediate impact, scoring just 20 seconds later on a loose ball in the box.

  • Roanoke outshot Covenant 16-7
