FOREST, Va. – The Roanoke College women's volleyball team was picked to finish seventh Friday in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) pre-season poll, voted on by the league's coaches.

The Maroons, with 83 points, are just six points away from fifth place.

Washington & Lee University, the conference champion the last three years, was picked first, followed by the University of Lynchburg. Batten (formerly Virginia Wesleyan) University came in third, followed by Bridgewater College, Randolph-Macon College and Shenandoah University.

The Maroons open their 2026 season with three matches at the Averett University Tournament, Sept. 4-5.
