Salem, Va. - Roanoke College's head women's basketball first-year coach, Tessa Hampton, released the team's 2026-27 schedule Thursday afternoon. 

"I am excited about what this upcoming season has in store for Roanoke College Women's Basketball. Each game will be an opportunity for us to compete, learn, and grow," said Hampton. "As a first-time Head Coach, I can't wait to embark on this journey with such a special group of young women. They are eager to work hard and compete within the ODAC and our non-conference matchups. We look forward to representing Roanoke College and all those supporting our program." 

The Maroons begin the regular season at home Nov. 7 against William Peace, and travel to play at Johnson & Wales Nov. 10. They then host the Jean Beamer Tip-Off Classic Nov. 14-15 at the Cregger Center, which features St. Mary's College of Maryland, Bridgewater, and Marymount.  

Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play begins in December as Roanoke travels to Guilford on the 2nd and hosts Batten on the 5th. RC then travels to Nashville to compete in the Music City Classic on Dec. 18-19 before wrapping up the calendar year hosting the Susan Dunagan Holiday Classic Dec. 29-30.  

After the New Year, the Maroons will play the core of their ODAC schedule through Feb. 21. The ODAC tournament is set to begin Feb. 23 with the semifinals and championship to be hosted at the Salem Civic Center Feb. 26-27.
