GREENWOOD, Ind. - Six Maroons were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's At-Large Academic All-District Team as announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Senior Katherine Seal and juniors Maddy Holmes and Ashley Mountcastle of the field hockey team and juniors Zoe Blair, Liza Fergusson, and Maddie McDonald of the women's lacrosse team were all honored.
To qualify for the Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be a sophomore and hold at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA. They must also compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.
Mountcastle, Fergusson, and McDonald are all repeat honorees after taking home the accolade last year as well.
All six Maroons had at least a 3.8 GPA with Fergusson and McDonald both boasting 4.0 GPAs.
