In a tightly contested Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament semifinal matchup, the third-seeded Roanoke College men's lacrosse team fell 18-16 at the University of Lynchburg.
The No. 2 seeded Hornets advance to the ODAC Finals Sunday at Washington & Lee University, while the Maroons (13-5) await a possible at large bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Patrick Cullen scored four goals in the first half as the Maroons nearly matched the Hornets in a high-scoring first 30 minutes, trailing 13-12 .
*The Hornets extended their lead to three early in the second half, and the Maroon comeback effort wasn't able to close the gap to less than two by the final buzzer.

- Cullen led the way for the Maroon offense, netting five goals. He also broke the 100-point barrier for his career and now has 104 in his four seasons.
- Noah Bell put up a strong four-goal effort.
