Salem, Va. – Four Roanoke College student-athletes earned spots on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men's Swimming and Diving Team Tuesday.

Nicholas Cuchna, a junior from Manchester, Md, is a business administration and finance major. Junior Ryan Franceys is a business administration and accounting major from Harare, Zimbabwe. Tyler Hill, a sophomore engineering science major, is from Mechanicsville, Va. And sophomore Cade Needham, from Southport, S.C. is an actuarial science major.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
