RC Men's Lacrosse advances in ODAC Tournament with 17-4 win over VWU

Patrick Cullen and
Julian Kammerman combined for 14 points Monday as the Roanoke College men's lacrosse team earned a 17-4 win over visiting Virginia Wesleyan University in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Quarterfinals. Senior goalie
Alex Feuer made 18 stops and allowed just two goals as a strong defensive effort helped propel the Maroons to victory.
How It Happened:
The Maroons attacked early and never looked back, allowing just one Marlin goal the entire first half. Cullen's six-goal, one-assist effort spearheaded the offensive attack and Kammerman had three goals and four assists.
Inside The Numbers:
- Noah Bell netted three goals on the night and now has exactly 100 points for his career.
- Tyler Schmelzer finished just behind Cullen and Kammerman with six points on two goals and four assists.
- Dell Vidunas, Griffin Dabbs, and Blake Rieger all found the back of the net to round out the Roanoke scoring effort. Preston Shields had two assists.
- Zach Seward had a goal and fielded five ground balls for the Marlins (11-7).
