The Roanoke College men's lacrosse team finished its regular season on a very high note Wednesday, defeating Guilford College convincingly, 27-2 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC).
How It Happened:
Guilford kicked off the game with an early goal but after that, it was all Maroons. After a 22-2 first half, Roanoke held the Quakers scoreless in the second half, leading to a 27-2 final.
Inside The Numbers:
- Patrick Cullen put up a hat trick, scoring three goals in the win.
- Ben Vetti and Tyler Schmelzer each recorded two goals and two assists.
- Jackson Kreter, Connor Lockwood, Anthony Muniz, and Christian Friedl all contributed two goals as well.
- Julian Kammerman scored one goal and notched four helpers.
- Dell Vidunas, Nate Lucera, Griffin Dabbs, Jack Snyder, Marquay Cook, Blake Rieger, Colin Lasch, Owen Ameo, Noah Bell, Jack Savoie, and Riley Andrake all got in on the scoring and notched a goal apiece.
