RADFORD, Va. - The Roanoke College baseball team finished off their non-conference slate with a 13-3 eight inning victory over Pfeiffer.

How It Happened 

• The sides were knotted at one after the first two innings. That was until Hayden Giordano hit a three-run homer to make it 4-1 in the third. 

• While Pfeiffer got one back in the fifth, RC added two in the innings to make it a four-run game. 

• Pfeiffer picked up another run in the sixth, but the Roanoke offense put the game out of reach over the course of the seventh and eigth innings, tallying six runs. 

Notes and Notables 

• Hayden Giordano paced the Maroons with five RBIs and two home runs. It was the second multi-home run game of his career. 

• Noah Donaho and Tyler Galloway each posted a pair of RBIs. 

• Michael Hetzel and Liam Murphy were the other two RC players to record RBIs in the contest. 

• Giordano and Nate Prince accounted for three runs each. 

• Jack Fehlner joined Galloway, Donaho, Hetzel, Giordano, and Prince in having two hits a piece. 

• Prince also swiped a pair of bases in the game, putting him third in the ODAC with 18 on the season. 

• Isaac Brooks picked up his first win of the season after pitching three scoreless innings.
