How It Happened 

• Both teams scored a run in the first to get things started. 

• CNU then added a quartet of runs in the top of the third before RC got one back in the bottom of fifth. 

• The Captains had a big sixth inning, putting up six tallies to widen their advantage. 

• While Roanoke tried to claw their way back into the game, every time they added runs, CNU matched them. 

Notes and Notables 

• Noah Donaho, Michael Hetzel, and Tyler Galloway each recorded RBIs. 

• RC's other run came off a steal of home by Alec Jones. 

• Donaho was the only Maroons to tally multiple hits in the contest, posting two. 

• Nate Prince, Hayden Giordano, Timothy Hootselle, and Galloway had the other hits on the day.
