HAMPDEN SYDNEY, Va. - The Roanoke College College baseball team fell in their road doubleheader with the Hampden-Sydney Tigers. 

Game 1 Information 
Hampden-Sydney 7, Roanoke 0 
Records: Hampden-Sydney (14-16, 7-7), Roanoke (17-13, 5-9) 
Location: Hampden-Sydney, Va. (Ty Cobb Ballpark – Wurdemann Stadium) 

Game 1 Notes and Notables 

• The Tigers scored in the first, fourth, and sixth innings and kept RC from getting anything going offensively to take Game 1. 

• Nate Prince, Alec Jones, Michael Hetzel, Liam Murphy, Tyler Galloway, and Danny Ferguson accounted for Roanoke's six hits in the game. 

• Jones and Ferguson also had walks in the contest. 

• Prince also had a stolen base, bringing his team leading total to 12. 

• Freshman Ryan Wallace put together a solid relief outing, going 2.2 innings and allowing just two baserunners while posting a strikeout. 

Game 2 Information 
Hampden-Sydney 15, Roanoke 4 
Records: Hampden-Sydney (15-16, 8-7), Roanoke (17-14, 5-10) 

Game 2 Notes and Notables 

• HSC jumped out to an early lead in the second and third innings. While Roanoke got one back in the fifth and three in the sixth, the Tigers added to their lead in the bottom of the sixth. 

• Nate Prince, Dylan Bonzon, and Tyler Galloway each drove in a run. 

• Hayden Giordano had a pair of hits in the contest. 

• Liam Murphy, Jack Fehlner, and Timothy Hootselle joined Prince, Bonzon, and Galloway in tallying a hit each.
