The Short Story: The Roanoke College men's lacrosse team battled No. 16 Washington & Lee University Wednesday night, but the Maroons fell 14-10 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) competition.
How It Happened:
*The game had six goals scored in under six minutes - four by the Maroons - capped by a tally from goalie
David Hamilton on a long shot from his own end. RC ended the first period ahead 6-4 with two tallies from
Clayton Bewick.
*The Generals scored seven of the eight goals in the second period to take an 11-7 edge at halftime.
*The Maroons netted the first two goals of the second half to cut the lead to 11-9, but the Generals allowed just one goal in the final 27:29.

*Bewick finished with a hat trick and an assist.
