ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - The Roanoke College baseball team scored 12 unanswered runs in the back half of the game to propel themselves above N.C. Wesleyan in the midweek.

How It Happened 

• RC struck first and grew their advantage until N.C. Wesleyan went up 5-4 in the bottom of the fourth. 

• The Maroons then scored 12 unanswered runs across the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth innings. 

• The Battling Bishops cut into the deficit in the bottom of the eighth, but Roanoke added two in the ninth to help solidify the win. 

Notes and Notables 

• 11 different Roanoke players drove in runs while nine different players recorded a hit in the game. 

• Kyle Tyrrell put together a career day as he posted four RBIs on three hits and a walk while adding two runs. 

• Noah Donaho led in hits with a career high four on the evening. He also accounted for three runs. 

• Nate Prince, Michael Hetzel, Christian Dart, and Dylan Bonzon were the other Maroons to tally multiple RBIs in the contest. Prince, Hetzel, and Bonzon also recorded a pair of hits. 

• Freshman Clark Mileto earned his second win of the season as he struck out three over 3.1 innings of work.
