SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College men's volleyball squad earned their fifth conference sweep of the season as they defeated Averett on Tuesday.

How It Happened 

• The Maroons had control for most of the match and succssfully fended off Averett's attempts to force a fourth set in at the end of the third set. RC took the sets 25-14 25-19, and 25-22. 

Notes and Notables 

• Andre Gates led in kills with six and posted a .857 hitting percentage. Meanwhile, Nathan Scherber and Michael Cummins were next up with four kills each. 

• Gabe Fabbro posted 10 assists and was followed up by Teagan Cole who had seven. 

• Cole also posted three service aces in the match. 

• Scherber and Aiden Christian each had three blocks on the evening. Gates and Dominic Colton were right behind with two a piece. 

• Noah Kuhn topped the squad in digs with eight.
