FOREST, Va. – The Roanoke College softball team was picked to finish fifth Friday in the 2026 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) softball pre-season poll, voted on by the league's coaches.

Virginia Wesleyan University was picked first with 100 points and 10 first-place votes, followed by Bridgewater College (87 pts.), Randolph-Macon College (83), the University of Lynchburg (73) and the Maroons (67) in the 11-team conference.

Roanoke opens play Feb. 14 at Greensboro College.
