The Short story: The Roanoke College men's basketball team closed out the 2025-26 regular season in impressive fashion Saturday, rolling to an 83-57 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win over visiting Randolph College on Senior Day.

Roanoke (19-6/12-4 ODAC) enters the 2026 ODAC Championship Tournament as the No. 3 seed, and will host sixth-seeded Washington & Lee University Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a quarterfinal matchup. 

How it happened:  
*Roanoke opened an early 11-2 lead.
*The Maroons turned a 27-20 advantage into a 40-20 lead after a 13-0 run late in the first half.
*RC entered halftime ahead 43-26.
*The Maroons took a 21-point lead (56-35) with 14:14 remaining and led by 20 or more the rest of the way.

Inside the numbers:
*Jackson Bell paced the Maroons with 19 points and seven rebounds.
*Zach Rosenthal connected on 4-of-8 three-point attempts for 13 points.
*Marcus Morgan posted 11 points, four rebounds and three assists.
*Patrick Clevener had seven points and five rebounds.
*Gavin O'Malley also scored seven and Ryan Truitt posted six points, six assists and four rebounds.
*Elijah Cox scored 14 for Randolph (5-20/1-15 ODAC).
