Caleb Franze scored a career-high 31 points behind seven three pointers Tuesday night as the Roanoke College men's basketball team rolled 92-68 over visiting Washington & Lee University in the quarterfinals of the 2025-26 Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament. Junior
Jackson Bell hit six three pointers and posted 30 points for the Maroons.
Franze shattered his previous career-high of 19 set last week vs. the University of Lynchburg for the third-seeded Maroons. Roanoke (20-6) advances into the tournament semifinals to face No. 2 seed Virginia Wesleyan University, a 71-65 winner Tuesday against Averett University.
The RC win avenges two earlier defeats this season at the hands of the Generals.
How it happened:
*The Maroons started the game out on fire, taking an 11-0 lead just 2:25 into the contest.
*A 9-0 Roanoke run midway through the first half made it a 20-point game at 36-16.
*Franze drilled a three just before intermission to give RC a 50-32 lead at halftime.
*The Maroons built the advantage to as many as 31 early in the second half and cruised to the playoff victory.

*Bell added six rebounds and three assists and Franze also had three assists and two steals.

Marcus Morgan delivered nine points and five assists.
