The Maroons pounced early, putting up five in the first after giving up one in the top of the inning. Alfred State then drew it back to within two before RC added five more in the third and fourth innings. The Pioneers tried to make a push in the sixth and seventh innings but Roanoke's 10 run dagger of a sixth inning secured their thrid win of the season.
