Notes and Notables
- The Maroons took the top two spots in the finals of the 60m hurdles, as Rebecca Carr won the race in 9.05 seconds and Olivia Viers followed close behind at 9.16. Ophelia Ladner also set a personal record with a time of 9.08 seconds in the preliminary round. Carr, Ladner and Viers currently hold the top three times in the ODAC, and they all rank inside the top five in the NCAA South Region.
- Nalonda Henderson won the 60m with a season-best mark of 7.87 seconds, which ranks second in the conference and ninth in the region. Mae Kaufman finished sixth in the prelims with a time of 8.05.
- Lindsey Hobin set a flat-track PR in the 400m, clocking in at 57.94 seconds to place second overall. That time is good for second in the ODAC and fourth in the region, and it currently ranks 29th in Division III. Ladner finished third in the event with a personal-best mark of 59.52 seconds, which puts her in fifth place in the conference. Maryrose Molina-Shuman (1:00.94), Mae Kaufman (1:01.37) and Nadira Cantey (1:03.14) claimed the fifth through seventh spots.
- The 4x400 relay team of Henderson, Carr, Viers and Kenna Fox placed third in 4:28.88.
- Rylie Nolte finished fourth in the triple jump (10.45m), sixth in the long jump (4.60m) and ninth in the pole vault (2.42m). She ranks seventh in the ODAC in both the triple jump and pole vault standings.
- Sarah Fuchs set a PR in the weight throw, chalking up a distance of 14.47m. She currently sits in seventh place in the conference table.
- Henderson's time of 26.84 seconds landed her in fifth place in the 200m.
- In the mile run, Allie Gallaher finished seventh with a personal-best time of 5:36.88, while Ava Wray came in ninth in 5:41.02.
- Lauren Murray placed 10th in the 5,000m with a season-best time of 21:31.52. Sarah Kochanski finished 12th in 21:57.65.
- Wray placed 11th in the 800m at 2:31.01.
- Claudia Disbrow (10.23m) and Bri Marando (10.14m) both notched season-best marks in the shot put, finishing 11th and 13th overall.
Up Next: The Maroons will compete at both the Rockingham Collegiate Classic and the Wittenberg Invite next weekend.
