SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College men's volleyball picked up their second straight ODAC three-set sweep as they took down Randolph on Tuesday night.

How It Happened 

• The first two sets went similarly with both sides trading shots through the first half of the set, but Roanoke found a way to put together runs and pull away. RC took set one 25-14 and set two 25-15. 

• Randolph then started the third set with a 5-2 advantage, but the Maroons brought it back within a point and then turned the tide late in the set. The squads needed extra points to decide the set, but Roanoke came out on top 27-25. 

Notes and Notables 

• Jackson Rutkowski and Michael Cummins led the squad in kills with 11 each. 

• Cade Kinne was right behind the duo with 10 kills. He also posted a .500 hitting percentage on the night. 

• Leo Houser led in assists with 20 and was followed closely by Johnny Moran who posted 18. 

• Rutkowski also led in digs with eight. Cummins and CJ Kingston were right behind him with seven each. 

• Kinne and Dominic Wheaton posted three blocks each in the match. Kinne had a solo and two assisted blocks while Wheaton had three assisted stops. 

• Wheaton and Colin Mendoza added three service aces a piece. Wheaton set a new single game mark for himself in the category.
