The short story: The Roanoke College women's swimming team defeated Bridgewater College Saturday afternoon on Senior Day, while the Maroon men tied the Eagles.

The women's team had 11 first-place finishes while the men took six races.

Event winners (women):
*The women opened the meet with a victory in the 200 medley relay, with Julianna Morrow, Kate Pearson, Halle Schart and Claire Ballard finishing in 1:53.95.
*Morrow won two events; the 100 back in 1:00.57 and the 200 back in 2:14.07.
*Schart won the 200 free in 2:00.96 and the 200 IM in 2:16.71.
*Carter Satterfield won the 500 and 1000 free in 5:20.03 and 10:55.80, respectively.
*Pearson earned victories in the 100 breast (1:11.51) and 200 breast (2:33.86).
*Ballard had a win in the 100 free in 57.44 and teamed again with Morrow, Pearson and Schart to place first in the 200 free relay in 1:42.99.
 
Event winners (Men):
*Tyler Hill touched first in both the 100 and 200 fly in 51.87 and 1:58.95.
*Ryan Franceys swam the 500 free in 4:53.70 to take first, and also won the 200 free in 1:46.52.
*Peyton Meyer won the 1000 free in 10:11.44.
*The 200 free relay team of Dyllan Hartman, Regan Euker, Franceys and Hill won the race in 1:27.95.
