How It Happened

  • In the 38th minute, Parker Laatsch made a run down the right wing and put a low ball into the box that ended up at the foot of Cameron Viator. Viator took a touch and put the bouncing ball into the lower left corner to double the advantage.

  • Brevard opened the scoring in the second half, earning one back off a free kick just outside the box.

  • C. Laatsch picked off an errant pass by Brevard about 20 yards out from goal. He then took his open space and slotted home a left footed shot into the bottom right corner from the top of the box in the 72nd minute to make it 3-1.

  • Not even two minutes later, Adam Shaia sent a ball behind the Tornado defense that C. Laatsch was able to run onto, take a touch past the keeper, and easily finish into the open net to round out his hat trick.
