MEADVILLE, Pa. - The Roanoke College field hockey team fell in a tightly contested game with the Allegheny College Gators on Saturday.

How It Happened 

• The Gators picked up the only tally of the contest in the fourth quarter.  

Notes and Notables 

• Both sides registered plenty of shots with Roanoke recording 14 shots with six on target. 

• Elyse Cosgrave led the squad in shots with four while Maddy Holmes was right behind her with three. 

• Chloe Miller got her first career start in goal, making six saves in the contest. 

• Leanne Pezzutti made the first appearance of her field hockey career for the Maroons in the game.
