SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College men's soccer team was defeated by Shenandoah in a rainy nightcap matchup on Saturday.

How It Happened 

• Shenandoah took advantage of a corner and finished off a short clear in the second half to go up 1-0. They then scored in the waning seconds of the game to double the score. 

Notes and Notables 

• Will Fatzinger, Ryan Pidgeon, Peyton Mancini, Slate Danforth, and Grey Morris each registered a shot in the contest. 

• Goaltender Aidan McHugh made two saves during his 90 minutes between the pipes. 

• Roanoke held a slight edge in corner kicks, 7-6, while Shenandoah took the shot advantage, 8-5. 

• Seniors Adam Shaia, Kyle Butcher, Fatzinger, Carter Laatsch, Lucas Pace, and McHugh were honored in a pregame Senior Day ceremony for their contributions to the program.
