VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Roanoke College women's lacrosse team grabbed another ODAC win as they took down Virginia Wesleyan 20-1 on the road.

How It Happened 

• Roanoke got to work in a hurry, scoring within the first minute. From there, they went on to score 13 more unanswered goals in the first half. It was 14-0 before the break. 

• It was a lower scoring second half, but the Maroons maintained their control, outscoring Virginia Wesleyan 6-1 to bring the score to its final. 

Notes and Notables 

• 12 different RC players found the back of the net in the game and seven of those players had multi-point games. 

• Grace Koutouzis led all scorers with eight points on five goals and three assists. 

• Maddie McDonald added a hat trick while Zoe Blair and Audrey Leith rounded out the other multi-goal scorers with two each. 

• Jordan Wheeler and McDonald topped the team in draw controls with four each. 

• Amber Stallings played the whole game in net for the Maroons. She only needed to make three saves to get her second win of the year. 

• RC had the upper hand in shots, 38-10, ground balls, 10-5, and draw controls, 16-6.
