PULASKI, Va. - The Roanoke College baseball team split their Saturday ODAC double header with the #3 Lynchburg Hornets, winning game one in comeback fashion by a score of 8-7. 

Game 1 Information 
Roanoke 8, #3 Lynchburg 7 
Records: Roanoke (13-10-1, 6-2-1), Lynchburg (19-4, 7-2) 
Location: Pulaski, Va. (Calfee Park) 

Game 1 Notes and Notables  

• After Lynchburg jumped out to a 6-0 lead, the Maroons got one back in the bottom of the third and one in the bottom of the sixth. The Hornets tallied one more in the seventh but that is also when the Roanoke bats exploded for four runs and kept going in the eighth to take the lead. 

• Isaac Brooks picked up his fourth win of the year after working the eighth and ninth innings. Brooks didn't allow a run or a hit and struck out one. 

• Kyle Moshier led RC with three hits and three RBIs, including what would be the game winning RBI. 

• Tyler Galloway followed him up with two runs, two hits, and two RBIs. Galloway also hit his second home run of the season in the seventh. 

• Danny Ferguson, Parker Stallard, and Corey Coogan had the other RBIs for the Maroons.  

• Coogan also had two walks in the contest. 

Game 2 Information 
#3 Lynchburg 11, Roanoke 1 
Records: Lynchburg (20-4, 8-2), Roanoke (13-11-1, 6-3-1) 

Game 2 Notes and Notables 

• Lynchburg tagged Roanoke early and unlike the first game, continued to lay it on. RC was unable to find a response or a way to comeback. 

• Corey Coogan accounted for Roanoke's only RBI in the game. 

• Danny Ferguson, Parker Stallard, Hayden Giordano, Nate Prince, and Coogan combined for the Maroons' hit total in the contest.
