The Short Story: Luca Docking had six goals and two assists Wednesday as the Roanoke College men's lacrosse team pulled away from visiting Centre College 15-12 in non-conference play.  

How it happened:
*The Maroons started strong, opening a 6-2 lead with four goals from Wyatt Whitlow.
*Centre posted the last goal of the first period and outscored the Maroons 4-1 in the second to tie the game at 7-7 at halftime.
*Docking netted three in the third period as Roanoke took a 12-10 lead and RC sealed the game with a 3-2 fourth quarter.
 
 Inside the numbers:
*Alex Feuer, the ODAC Defensive Player of the Week this week, made 18 saves.
*Whitlow finished with four goals and an assist and also caused two turnovers.
*Luke Kammerman had two goals and two assists and Clayton Bewick tallied two goals and one assist.
*Julian Kammerman had a goal and two assists and Patrick Cullen handed out three assists.
*Weston Hammond caused two turnovers and scooped three ground balls while Logan O'Sullivan had two of each.
*Ryan Black had two goals and two assists for the Colonels (5-5) and Ben Hubbs had a hat trick.
