The Short Story: Luca Docking had six goals and two assists Wednesday as the Roanoke College men's lacrosse team pulled away from visiting Centre College 15-12 in non-conference play.
How it happened:
*The Maroons started strong, opening a 6-2 lead with four goals from
Wyatt Whitlow.
*Centre posted the last goal of the first period and outscored the Maroons 4-1 in the second to tie the game at 7-7 at halftime.
*Docking netted three in the third period as Roanoke took a 12-10 lead and RC sealed the game with a 3-2 fourth quarter.

Alex Feuer, the ODAC Defensive Player of the Week this week, made 18 saves.
*Whitlow finished with four goals and an assist and also caused two turnovers.

Luke Kammerman had two goals and two assists and
Clayton Bewick tallied two goals and one assist.

Julian Kammerman had a goal and two assists and
Patrick Cullen handed out three assists.

Weston Hammond caused two turnovers and scooped three ground balls while
Logan O'Sullivan had two of each.
