HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Roanoke College baseball team exploded for 30 combined runs in their double header to take the weekend sweep of Eastern Mennonite.

EMU struck first in the bottom of the second, but RC responded with five in the top of the third. The Maroons went on to score in each of the next six innings to finish off the game.
- Hayden Giordano hit for the cycle for the first time in his career. The sophomore had a career high of five hits and was one shy of his career mark with his five RBIs. Giordano's two home runs made it the first multi-home run game of his career and brought his season total to three. He also also tallied three runs.
- Thomas Burgess earned his third win of the year, going six innings and striking out five.

Freshman Nick Capps got his first career save after working three innings.

Nate Prince was right behind with four hits and three runs. Corey Coogan also recorded three runs on top of his three hits.

Kyle Moshier and Ken McKeever also had three hits. McKeever's single in the fourth was the first of his Roanoke career. His trio of hits also marks his first multi-hit game.
