SALEM, Va. - Freshman Paige Breuer continues to pick up the accolades as she was named the D3hoops.com All-Region 6 Rookie of the Year. 

It is the first time in program history that Roanoke has had an All-Region Rookie of the Year. 

Breuer takes home the honor after becoming just the second Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Rookie of the Year in program history and being selected to the All-ODAC Second Team. The point guard was RC's leading scorer this season and was sixth in the conference in scoring with 13.0 points per game. Breuer also topped the ODAC in free-throw percentage at 90.1% to finish third nationally in the category. 

Breuer was instrumental in getting the Maroons to the playoffs this season, averaging 13.14 points and posting a .400 field goal percentage during their seven-game win streak that led them to securing the No. 5 seed in the ODAC Tournament.
