SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College women's lacrosse squad were overcome by SUNY Geneseo in their second game of the weekend.

How It Happened 

• After a fairly even first quarter, SUNY Geneseo broke it open in the second to take a lead that they would never relinquish. The second half was close scoring wise, but Roanoke couldn't find a way to cut into the Knights' advantage. 

Notes and Notables 

• Zoe Blair led all scorers with four goals for four points. She has now recorded multi-goal games in seven of the eight contests so far this season. 

• Raegan Becker and Grace Koutouzis each had a goal and an assist to round out the multi-point talliers. 

• Maddie McDonald and Koutouzis led the way on the draw with six controls each. Jordan Wheeler was right behind with four. 

• Kendall Todd made eight saves and had a career high five ground balls in the game. 

• RC had the upper hand in draw controls 19-12 but SUNY Geneseo had the shot advantage, 32-24. The squads were even in ground balls with 20 each.
