SPARKS, Md. – The Roanoke College women's lacrosse team dropped their neutral site contest with #16 Ithaca at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters on Wednesday afternoon.

How It Happened
- Ithaca went on a run in the first and never looked back, going up by five in the quarter.
- It was more of an even split goal wise in the second but Ithaca put together another big quarter in the third.
- Roanoke tried to draw it closer in the fourth, outscoring the Bombers 4-3 but it wasn't enough to close gap.
Notes and Notables
- Maddie McDonald and Grace Koutouzis led the Maroons in points with three each. McDonald did so on two goals and an assist while Koutouzis tallied a goal and two assists.
- Four other Roanoke players had multi-point days. Zoe Blair, Tracey Benzing, and Raegan Becker each scored a pair of goals while Addison Widmer had a goal and an assist.
- Sarah Brisson rounded out the point totalers with an assist.
- Regan Tharaldson made her first career appearance as a Maroon, taking the second half draw controls. Tharaldson recorded four draw controls on the afternoon.
- McDonald joined Tharaldson at four draw controls while Koutouzis picked up six.
- Kendall Todd and Amber Stallings had three saves apiece in the contest.
- Draw controls were even between the sides with 16 all around. Roanoke had the slight advantage in ground balls 11-10 while Ithaca had the advantage in shots, 34-26.
