How It Happened
-
Peyton Kirchner fittingly opened the scoring before Randolph went on a run to a six-point lead. A Nadia Snesarev three pointer cut the lead in half and helped the Maroons to draw even, 13-13, before the quarter's end.
-
The Maroons decided that they were not just going to surrender, cutting the deficit to three within two minutes of the quarter's start. Snesarev and Ashley Fowler combined for four straight three-pointers to put Roanoke up. The offense kept coming and the defense held strong, only allowing five points in the quarter, to secure the 58-51 ODAC win.
