FOREST, Va. – The Roanoke College men's basketball team was picked to finish third in a vote of the league's coaches Wednesday in the 2025-26 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) pre-season poll.
Roanoke is ranked No. 10 in the D3Hoops.com pre-season poll. Last winter, the Maroons advanced to the NCAA Tournament's Round of 16 for the first time since the 1995-96 campaign. Roanoke finished the 2024-25 season 25-6, the most wins for the program since the 1993-94 season. RC ranked No. 15 in the final D3hoops.com poll, the highest in program history for a D3hoops.com season-ending poll.
The Maroons return four starters from the 2024-25 team (
Marcus Morgan,
Jackson Bell,
Gavin O'Malley and
Patrick Clevenger) and welcome back 2023-24 starter
Zach Rosenthal, who was forced to sit out the 2024-25 campaign with an injury.
The Maroons open the 2025-26 season by hosting Christendom College Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cregger Center.
