How It Happened 

• Washington & Lee scored a pair of goals in the first, second, and fourth quarters to put the game out of reach for the Maroons. 

Notes and Notables 

• Elyse Cosgrave and Corinne Orlando had only two shots for Roanoke in the contest. 

• Freshman goalie, Chloe Miller, made a career high 12 saves in the game. It is the second game in the past eight days that she has made double digit saves in.

The squad heads up to Eastern Mennonite on Saturday (Oct. 11) for evening ODAC action. That game is set to start at 6:00 pm.
