How It Happened

  • Maggie Beach picked up a loose ball in the arc and then lifted the ball towards the back post. Maddy Holmes finished it off to open the scoring.

  • Corinne Orlando sent a ball into the center off a corner that ricocheted off the goalie. Leanne Pezzuti was then able to bring the ball around her body and double the lead with her back to goal.

  • Orlando then followed up another long ball into the center, this time from Kaitlyn Robertson, on a penalty corner to make it 3-0.

  • Robertson sent the ball in from the right flank and found Maddy Holmes in the center. Holmes passed the ball through a defender's legs and to a wide-open Orlando who took a one-time shot to bring the score to its final 4-0.
