Maroons drop ODAC matchup with Hampden-Sydney

SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College men's soccer team dropped their ODAC matchup with RV Hampden-Sydney on Saturday night.

How It Happened 

  • It was 0-0 at the half, but Hampden-Sydney struck six minutes into the second half. They then doubled their advantage in the 77th minute. Roanoke pushed hard in the final 15 minutes but couldn't quite find a way to breakthrough. 

Notes and Notables 

  • Denzel Marufu played all 90 minutes in net and made two stops.

Roanoke is set to face-off with Lynchburg on Wednesday (Oct. 22) at Kerr Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
