Event: Finn Pincus Invitational
Location: Salem, Va. | Cregger Field House
The Lead: The Maroons claimed victory in the distance medley relay and posted two other second-place showings as they opened up the home schedule with the Finn Pincus Invitational.
 
Highlights:

• Roanoke's distance medley relay team of Allie Gallaher, McKenna Riolo, Evie Magee and Savannah Reid crossed the tape first with a time of 13:56.05.
• Gallaher also logged a runner-up finish in the 800m, clocking in at 2:33.01. Magee placed sixth in 2:38.56.
• The Maroons secured second place in the 4x400 relay, as Lindsey Hobin, Mae Kaufman, Maryrose Molina-Shuman and Nadira Cantey clocked in at 4:07.78, which currently ranks second in the South Region. Roanoke's "B" team of Ophelia Ladner, Riolo, Reid and Gallaher finished fifth with a mark of 4:38.19.
• Rebecca Carr landed in fourth place in the 60m hurdles, recording a time of 9.38 seconds. She also placed 15th in the high jump at 1.45m.
• Reid came in fifth in the 5,000m with a personal-record time of 20:08.38. Lauren Murray finished eighth in 22:16.96.
• Kaufman notched a seventh-place run in the 400m with a time of 1:01.82. Molina-Shuman placed 11th in 1:02.65, followed by Cantey in 12th at 1:02.80.
• Cammi Winston's mark of 9.91m was good for 10th place in the triple jump.
• Tasha Miller placed 12th in the pole vault with a personal-best performance of 3.20m.
• Two Maroons finished back-to-back in the 200m: Hobin placed 13th in 26.96 seconds, followed closely by Eleanor Hinckley in 14th at 26.97.
• Abby McGlothlin came in 15th in the shot put with a distance of 10.36m.
• Olivia Viers produced a season-best mark of 4.80m in the long jump, finishing 16th.
• Sarah Kochanski set a personal record with a time of 12:15.03 in the 3,000m, landing in 20th place.

Up Next: Roanoke will travel to Lexington for the VMI Invitational next weekend.
