How It Happened 

• Despite holding strong defensively, Sewanee broke through in the 60th minute to break the tie and end the game. 

Notes and Notables 

• Grace Vernarelli, Elyse Cosgrave, and Mary Wisher were the only Maroons to register shots. 

• Roanoke had the edge on penalty corners, taking seven to Sewanee's six. 

• Keeper Madison Wingarter registered a season high 10 saves on the day.
