The Short Story: The Roanoke College women's soccer team fell to perennial powerhouse Emory University Saturday 4-0 in the season opener for both teams. The contest was scoreless for nearly 33 minutes and was a one-goal game until early in the second half.

HOW IT HAPPENED
*Katie Hungness broke the scoreless tie at 32:51 of the first half on a double assist and the Eagles took the 1-0 lead into intermission.
*Mikayla Camp found the back of the net soon after halftime and Emory added two insurance goals in a 14-second span just after the 70-minute mark.

BY THE NUMBERS
*Maroon Grace Suchy made four saves in her 76 minutes in goal.
