This season marks Roanoke College's first return to the gridiron since 1942. Supporters backed a bold fundraising campaign to relaunch football, add competitive cheer and introduce marching band on campus.

The football team is debuting as a club sport in its first year before advancing to ODAC varsity status next year. Well-known coach Bryan Stinespring is at the team's helm.
