The Short Story: The nationally-ranked Generals remained unbeaten in conference play after sweeping the Maroons in a Friday afternoon matchup on the Elizabeth Campus Courts.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• W&L dropped just one game in doubles play. Izzy Koziol and Haley Stoltz defeated Halle Fernstrum and Bella Gustafson 8-1 at No. 1, Lauren Long and Riho Iijima bested Lia Streibich and Victoria Rios 8-0 at No. 2, and Meagan Donovan and Jordan Kach knocked off Julia Bassett and Camryn Breedlove 8-0 at No. 3.
• The Generals then took all six singles matches in straight sets: Long against Streibich at No. 1 (6-1, 6-0), Stoltz over Fernstrum at No. 2 (6-2, 6-2), Koziol against Gustafson at No. 3 (6-0, 6-1), Iijima over Bassett at No. 4 (6-0, 6-0), Kach against Breedlove at No. 5 (6-0, 6-0), and Donovan over Morgan Tobey at No. 6 (6-0, 6-1).
