HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Maroons rolled to three 8-0 wins in doubles play: Halle Fernstrum and Bella Gustafson over Peyton Jones and Emily Jones at No. 1, Lia Streibich and Victoria Rios against Isabelle Ingwerson and Charlie Miller in the No. 2 flight, and Julia Bassett and Camryn Breedlove over Elizabeth Angelo and Sasha Mingo at No. 3.
• Roanoke posted straight-set wins in all six singles matches: Streibich over Peyton Jones at No. 1 (6-0, 6-0), Fernstrum over Emily Jones at No. 2 (6-0, 6-0), Gustafson against Miller at No. 3 (6-0, 6-0), Bassett over Ingwerson at No. 4 (6-0, 6-0), Breedlove against Mingo at No. 5 (6-1, 6-0), and Sidney Wright against Arabella Crookshanks at No. 6 (6-0, 6-0).
• The Maroons also celebrated Senior Day for Fernstrum, the lone member of the Class of 2024 on the RC roster.
